New Designs for Two Bridges

SustainableUrbanization_2013

In 2013, the New Designs for Two Bridges looked at the area underneath and around Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge in Lower Manhattan, and its larger contexts and adjacencies: City Hall, Chinatown, the Bowery, and DUMBO Focus included major urban design themes such as waterfront development, sustainable infrastructural systems, the transformation of public housing, and the search for design interventions that address marginality in the city.
